Card Curator — Storage tracker for your sports card collection

Built on Apple's search and storage stack.

Storage records live in your private SwiftData database and sync between your Macs through CloudKit. Spotlight integration is native CoreSpotlight — your card index is part of the OS's search index, not a separate database.

  • SwiftData — storage location records, card-to-location links
  • CoreSpotlight — system-level card search
  • CloudKit — private sync between your Macs
  • SwiftUI — drag-and-drop, batch reassign
  • NSWorkspace — deep links from Spotlight results
  • Image pipeline — location cover photos, EXIF stripped

Frequently asked.

What kinds of storage locations are supported?

Whatever you use — binders, boxes, sleeves, toploaders, safes, safe deposit boxes, top-shelf-of-the-closet. You create the location names and structure; the app tracks any card's assignment to any location.

Can I take photos of my storage boxes?

Yes. Each storage location can have a cover photo so you can visually recognize it. Photos are stored locally on your Mac with EXIF and GPS metadata stripped on import.

Can I find a card using Spotlight?

Yes. Every card is indexed by Spotlight, so a quick Cmd-Space search for a player name brings up your card and shows its location. Click a result to jump straight to the card in Card Curator.

Can I move many cards at once?

Yes. Select any number of cards and assign them to a new storage location in one action. Useful when you're reorganizing or moving cards into a new binder.

What if I need to find a high-value card fast?

High-value alerts surface a watchlist of your most valuable cards on the dashboard. Each links straight to its storage location. Insurance-purpose reports include the location of every appraised card. See insurance documentation →

Can I track page and slot inside a binder?

Yes — binder-page-slot tracking is supported, and the binder view renders the cards in their actual page positions for a quick visual scan.

One price. Every feature. Forever.

Card Curator launches publicly in October 2026 at $59.99 USD — one-time purchase, perpetual license. Unlimited locations, unlimited cards.
