Themes and the community marketplace.

Eight built-in themes ship with the app — Classic, Vintage, Chrome, Prizm, Flawless, Mint, Ink, and Paper. A theme editor and Space template marketplace let collectors share their own. Sharing is opt-in. Nothing leaves your Mac without your say-so.

Card Curator — Themes and the community marketplace

Built on CloudKit public database with a moderation pipeline.

The marketplace runs on Apple's CloudKit public database under our shared container. Every publish goes through a six-layer validation and moderation pipeline before becoming visible. Your card data is never published — only appearance values and structural scaffolding.

  • CloudKit Public DB — marketplace storage, hosted on Apple's infrastructure
  • Six-layer moderation — every publish validated before going live
  • SwiftUI — themable view system, JSON-driven theme definitions
  • JSON theme & template export — portable, inspectable payloads
  • Opt-in publishing — disabled by default in Settings → Sharing
  • Self-service delete — unpublish anything from My Themes / My Templates

Frequently asked.

What themes ship with Card Curator?

Eight built-in themes: Classic, Vintage, Chrome, Prizm, Flawless, Mint, Ink, and Paper. Each adjusts accent color, fonts, sidebar density, image filters, and badge styling.

Can I make my own theme?

Yes. The theme editor lets you customize accent colors, fonts, sidebar density, image filters, and badge styling. Save and apply instantly. Publish to the community marketplace if you want others to use it.

What is the community marketplace?

An opt-in space where collectors share custom themes and Space templates. Browsing is always available; publishing requires you to enable it explicitly in Settings → Sharing.

Does publishing share my card data?

No. Theme payloads contain only appearance values — colors, fonts, decoration. Space templates contain only structural scaffolding — tab names, filter rules, goal types. No card data, no photos, no prices, no personal info.

Can I delete something I published?

Yes. From My Themes / My Templates you can unpublish anything at any time. Existing downloads keep working locally for users who already installed them.

Are landscape cards preserved across themes?

Yes. Landscape cards (tennis, racing, panoramic backs) keep their orientation no matter which theme or image filter you apply. No theme silently rotates a landscape card to portrait.

One price. Every feature. Forever.

Card Curator launches publicly in October 2026 at $59.99 USD — one-time purchase, perpetual license. Every theme, every marketplace browse, no extra fees.
